"Masak beli motor belasan juta sanggup, tapi beli helm ratusan ribu saja masih mikir-mikir," tanya John.

Kapanlagi.com - Honda Motor states are developing new fuel technology, cost-efficient, emissions-cutting technology that will be used for 50 cc scooter, which is scheduled lasted 1.5 years and planned to be installed in all models of Japan in 2007.
System control system that uses electronic fuel injection engine in the 4 not 50cc, reduce emissions of warming gas carbon monoxide up to half the fuel and make more economical to more than 10% compared to the traditional scooter, said the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world last week.
The technology is called "Thanks for the request-FI (programmed fuel injection), used for motorcycle and a larger car since 1982, but to develop a version that is more lightweight, cheaper and smaller for the 50 cc scooter is very difficult, he said.
"50cc motorbike dominate 70% of motorcycle market in Japan, so this achievement is significant," said Yasuo Ikenoya, managing director and head, Division Honda motorcycle.
Honda is planning a system that the majority of the 50cc scooter, which sold overseas at the end of 2010.
Ikenoya states with the latest model of the new system is expected to exceed sales conventional motorcycle, but Honda intends to reduce prices to levels that feasible in the future.
If the request okay, this new technology will help the expansion of Honda dominannya stock market in Japan 50cc motorcycle - which is now still 56% - but according to Ikenova, is not the purpose of the company.
"I think 56% is quite large. We do not intend to share with us this technology," he said.
Honda, also the second largest car manufacturer in Japan, always standing in front of the motorcycle technology and controls approximately 1 / 3 of the world market of 25 million units.
Ikenoya states also consider the development of Honda motorcycles in Thailand, 4 wheels, for the large population who can not buy a regular car. He stressed that the motorcycle is not the type of vehicles that have made Honda. (Reuters / ibrahimnl)

In general, in the car, there are two types of air filter that works to filter the air for the purpose of optimizing the system for burning and one that works in the series of cabin cooling system (AC).
The air filter is located on the top of the carburettor (end system or injection) main function is to remove dust and dirt that are on the air to the carburettor / or cylinder injection engine.
Moderate air filter in the series AC blower system is needed to filter the air outside the entrance to the cabin intended for air circulation and replace them with cold air. Air filter associated with the ignition system has three other important functions, namely:
1. Clean air to the engine with the channel and filter out particles that can devastate other components in the engine.
2. Prevent the flame from the engine or during the process of re-ignition.
3. Reducing noise from the air into the carburettor or isap channel.
Because of the importance of the air filter, the exact treatment of this component becomes a requirement that can not be avoided. Although cleaned regularly, have the air filter so that the threshold limit of pengantian in a certain time should be implemented. Not a car air filter treat yourself with some of the following efforts:
- Check the air filter elements regularly to know whether there is damage or very dirty conditions, so it must be replaced. Inspection easily done only with open cover saringannya and pull gently. Generally, the air filter for AC located in the nook and pencopotannya must be done more carefully.
- Clean air filter to inject compressed air with low pressure and in the direction of ditiupkan to the outside. Repeat several times until no longer exit from the dust of this section. When the outrageously gross, components, it can only be washed with cleaning solvents and dry, until it is dry, before re-installed.
- After that, check the close air filter saringannya home and from the possible change in form or damage. Vessel air filter also generally cumulation of dust or wet as the remaining oil lubricants. Clear this part to really clean and dry.
- After cleaning, if necessary, improve the cover of air filter and clean the container component, the job is properly re-install. Pair the air filter as its original position. Do not ever be reversed because the means to make these components do not work as a filter.
Change air filter every 20,000 km! (BSB / rit)

Casey Stoner takes runaway win in Valencia to conclude 2008 MotoGP season.
Casey Stoner ended the 2008 season as he began, victorious onboard the Ducati Desmosedici GP8. The Australian took the win at the Gran Premio Parts Europe de la Comunitat Valenciana in emphatic fashion, breaking away from pole for triumph number six of the year.
Runner-up in the overall standings, Stoner was riding for pride in the final race of the campaign, once again competing through the discomfort of a scaphoid injury that will be treated almost immediately following Monday and Tuesday´s post-race test. Setting circuit records along the way, Stoner eventually crossed the line some 3.390 seconds clear of any challenge to his superiority.
2007 racewinner at Valencia, Dani Pedrosa was unable to repeat the feat in 2008 –despite his best attempts. The Repsol Honda rider had taken the holeshot after his trademark speedy start off the line, but was left taking a back seat to Stoner as the pace quickened. Nonetheless, the Spaniard treated the home fans to another podium finish, his eleventh of the year.
Valentino Rossi had claimed on Saturday that he was not fast on race or qualifying tyres in the dry at Valencia, but proved himself wrong with his own mercurial performance with the Yamaha M1. The 2008 World Champion also added a further notch to his podium tally with third place, his ninth in succession and sixteenth of the campaign.
One week on from his first MotoGP podium, Andrea Dovizioso earned fourth place in a similarly closely-fought battle to that of Sepang with Nicky Hayden. The JiR Team Scot rider got a chance to further inspect the factory bike with which he will test on Monday and Tuesday, edging out his American rival but unable to take the Rookie of the Year prize. He handed his satellite machine to his replacement, Yuki Takahashi, on returning to the garage.
Moving from Repsol Honda to Ducati for 2009, Hayden fell short in his quest to end his stay on Japanese machinery to a final victory. Starting from the front row –like Pedrosa running a special white retro livery & leathers combination for the race- `The Kentucky Kid´ dropped to fifth as he once again lost out to Dovizioso.
Tech 3 Yamaha´s Colin Edwards came home sixth, ahead of Shinya Nakano, Jorge Lorenzo, Loris Capirossi and Alex de Angelis. All eighteen of the MotoGP riders completed the 30 lap race, held in front of 119,788 spectators.

Teams ready for Valencia test with a view to 2009
Sunday, 26 October 2008
Next year´s MotoGP line-up, minus the Tech3 Yamaha team, will be involved in tests with sole 2009 tyre suppliers Bridgestone in Valencia following this weekend´s season finale in Spain.
Bridgestone take their first big step in their 2009 project to supply the entire MotoGP grid as the first 08-09 winter test gets underway on Monday at the Ricardo Tormo circuit.
All the MotoGP class teams, with the exception of Tech3 Yamaha, will be present at the test, with LCR Honda, the Scot Racing Team and Pramac Racing only testing on Monday and the main factory teams expected to continue on Tuesday.
With updates unavailable from Yamaha until the concluding test of 2008 at Jerez at the end of November, Tech3 will not be present as they leave the development of the 2009 M1 in the safe hands of Fiat Yamaha´s Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, the latter getting his first run on Bridgestones as of Monday.
Ducati welcome three new riders into their satellite operations this week and Monday will therefore see the likes of new Pramac riders Niccolo Canepa and Mika Kallio testing the Desmosedici GP8, with returning hero Sete Gibernau joining them on track on the same machinery with new team Onde 2000.
Those riders are expected to get their first opportunity to test the new Desmosedici GP9 in Jerez next month, whilst this week another new Ducati arrival – 2006 World Champion Nicky Hayden - and Casey Stoner will test the GP9 before Stoner undergoes wrist surgery later this week. Stoner successfully test the new prototype in Barcelona earlier this year and is keen to see what progress has been made with the machine since then.
For Repsol Honda there will be no need for a partitioned box from now on as Andrea Dovizioso gets his first factory test and his first outing on Bridgestone tyres, alongside his new teammate Dani Pedrosa. Scot Racing Team´s new MotoGP rider Yuki Takahashi will get his first 800cc run out, whilst Alex de Angelis welcomes Toni Elias back into the San Carlo Honda Gresini team.
New Kawasaki Racing pairing Marco Melandri and John Hopkins and continuing Rizla Suzuki riders Loris Capirossi and Chris Vermeulen are also expected to test new bikes from their respective factories.
Sessions on both days will start at 10am and end at 5pm with updates and end of day reports to be found right here on motogp.com.

The BWM HP2 Sport is the latest iteration of the Bavarian Motor Company's foray into producing performance driven motorcycles. The quiet, staid, and lets just admit it boring motorcycles that came out of BMW in years past is history.
The HP line is BMW's new high performance, cutting edge line up. It's the motorcycle equivalent of their M line of performance cars.
The HP2 Sport is the third motorcycle in the HP line following the releases of the HP2 Enduro and the HP2 Megamoto.
The HP-2 Sport is based on the R1200S but is out and out designed for sports riders who are looking for a machine that has performance as well as endurance.
The HP2 Sport keeps some of the concepts that BMW motorcycles have become known for such as the BMW Motorrad Telelever front suspension and the EVO Paralever rear suspension. Other components have been newly developed or highly modified for use in the motorcycle.
The HP-2 Sport is powered by a twin Boxer motor that has a capacity of 1170 cc. The engine's cylinder heads were completely redesigned which allows the engine to rev as high as 9500 rpm. The engine has a 101 mm bore and a 73 mm stroke and produces a maximum of 130 hp at 8,750 rpm and 85 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm.
The bike has a close ratio six speed gear box, with first and second gear having higher ratios. This puts the gear increments closer to each other and results in less of a rev drop when progressing up through the gears.
The bike also has a gear shift assistant which allows the rider to shift gears without using the clutch. It works by sensing when the gear lever is activated. If it senses gear lever activation without the use of the clutch, it electronically reduces power to the engine which puts the engine in a low load state and makes it possible to shift without the clutch. If the rider uses the clutch, the system becomes inactive.
The riding position of the HP-2 sport can be described as relaxed. BMW has extensive experience with endurance racing and knows that for racers to be fast over a long period staying power is more important than a full racer's tuck.
The dashboard was developed by 2D Systems, which also provides analytic recording systems to Moto GP racing.
The dashboard has two modes and is switched by two controls on the left handlebar. In road mode, typical information such as speed, rpm, time, and distance are displayed. In race mode data such as top speed, circuit times, number of gearshifts and rpm is shown.
The HP2 Sport will push BMW further into the world of performance motorcycling.
